Hi,

I am trying to set up a couple of greeting tables on a NAM and am getting very strange results.

I set up Greeting table 2 (which uses greeting 2 all the time) to answer a particular line. Fine. Worked.

I changed Greeting table 2 to use ccr 2. Now, the line is answered with table 1 (though the line setting says ans with table 2).

I removed ccr2 (disabled) just to get back to where I was, but the line is still getting answered by greeting table 1.

I tried different lines and different tables, and the only one that answers now is greeting table 1!

Any thoughts??

Thanks.

You don't say what line number, but sounds like the wrong line number was assigned to be picked up by the Nam. Lines 5 to 24 are assigned to the T1, but Lines 025 would actually be your 5th loop line. Ex: If i wanted line 8 to be answered by the Voice Mail, and i'm not using a T1, i would program line 028.
Check your line number, and make sure you have the right number on the Nam assigned to Table 2.

Elise,
Seen similar glitch where the NAM alows the erasure of an MBox but won't let you create a new MBox with that same number and reports that the mailbox exist. If you go to CHG the effected mailbox the system will tell you the MBox doesn't exist. ??
Suggest you reboot the system a few times. If that doesn't work and you are still in the set up stages, do a full start up/configuration. This should clear the glitched software.
Can you tell us what system you are running?

Cheers
PhM
