green hue covering bottom 2 + inches of a landscape photo 1

i am getting a green hue covering about 1 to 2 inches of the bottom of my landscapes- using epson 2200 -dell lots of merrory and ram- have been on the fone with epson for 3 days and dont believe its the printer. have new and old files which did the same result- the detail of the picture does show through the green- did reset a few things in my photo shop 7 yesterday which helped but now back to green bottom border help Rich

Are they all coming from the same source? If so then it may be your capturing device. Can you provide some more specific detials?

i have pretty well decided its not the nikon ls 4000 as im using both newly created files and old ones. when i went through this with epson we used the pictures and faxes program which came with xp and all was well - i also am getting two thin vertical lines just in fron the edge going vertically - barely there but there just the same - had printer cleaned ect.i have had some pics almost all light green with the details showing through but mostly on the bottom 2 inhes or so help!!!!!

try taking your files to someone elses printer. Or take them to walmart and them to out put it. If your files still come out with the green cast, then you know its somehting with your machine. If they dont then it something with the printer. So try this...create a random file in photoshop, maybe just a grayscale chart or something simple. And see if you get the gray cast. Mainly you are going to have to waste alot of ink to figure out where the problem is.
