I know you are all good with words (that'll be why you're in this forum!), so can any of you think of good words meaning 'green', as in environmentally friendly, but not actually having anything with the word 'green' itself?

We're trying to come up with clever and snappy names for a project involving environmentally friendly products.

Any ideas? Any help very much appreciated!

Can we have more details on the specific planet friendly products? Might help with the ideas.

Hmmmm......

Planet Friendly
Eco-Savvy
Energy Sipping
Future-Conscious
Eco Conscious
Energy Aware
Dinosaur Friendly (hehe)

Speaking of dinosaurs....

I take great comfort in knowing that some day Barney the Dinosaur will be a quart of 10W-30 :)

Sha, I think the emphasis is on office/business but it's quite generally about being 'green'... Great ideas so far, shrub cuddler made me smile (thanks rjoubert!)

energy conserving
(planetary) resource conserving
nature conserving
nature protecting
nature friendly
life friendly
preservation focused
eco-partner
eco-partnered
eco-friend
eco-conscious
treats nature tenderly

basically, I focused on alternate meanings of friend, environment, and acting to help or protect.

More thesaurus use along these lines might yield even better ways of saying it.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

We're starting to think along the lines of seeds/seedlings/sprouts as a kind of 'growing plant for the future' idea, as we'd like the emphasis to be on moving forward into a new era of 'greenness'!.

We were also thinking of something with 'envi' for environment at the start, like 'envisage' but maybe that's been overdone already....?

Maybe I missed it, but what products are you wanting to market with the "green-theme?"

LNBruno, it's mostly office-y kind of things but not just office-y... hope that's not too vague?

LOL - it's a bit vague-y but it prompted me to think about this one:

"Environment-Ally" - with ally as a noun.

Non-existent

I say that with only partial sarcasm...many 'green' products simply shift the enviro side-effects to a different area.

For example, the electric cars may not themselves put out smog, but somewhere there's a smoke-belching coal-fired power plant that has to charge it...I could go on and on but would probably start a flame war...

May be a little late but how about:

seed-envi
sprouts-envi, etc.

(little play on humor - very little!)
