Great Plains Permissions

Hi, i am pretty new to great plains. We have a user who has certain permissions and now we want a new user to have the same as him.

Ive noticed theres an import/export permissions feature. I was thinking i could just export and then import into the new account.

I did not want to go ahead with this untill i had some feedback about it.

Does anyone know if this works and is reliable?

better to assign security by user class instead of on a user by user basis

You can create a user class, and using Advanced Security copy the current user's security settings to the new class.

Then assign that class to the new user.
