I have inherited a Windows 2000 server that is running AD and DNS along with the Microsoft Great Plains 7.50g30 package.

What I would like to do is remove the AD roles and add it to my win2k3 domain as a member server. I need to make sure that Great Plains remains in tact for Accounting and historical purposes.

If anyone could offer some suggestions on how to make this a smooth process I would greatly apprecitae your help.

Great Plains v7.5 does not use Active Directory, unless you also have Business Portal.

Great Plains uses SQL Authenication and so as long as the SQL Server is accessible and unchanged Great Plains should be happy.

Thanks for your help. The move to the new domain was very smooth and easy.
