I currently am trying to modify the 'Select Purchase Order Items' (POP_Select_PO_Items) screen in GP with the form modifier. The problem that I am having is that I need the global field 'Item Number' placed on this form (A pink rectangle box below the bottom of the form). When I find the 'Item Number' listed in the Toolbox (under global), I try to click and drag this field onto the form, however, it doesn't let me drag it onto the form, not like a local field. Is there a trick to doing this? I see on this form that there are already two other pink global fields on it (PO Number and Ord). Is there a way to get the item number to show up as well? I need this so that I can use it as a parameter in my VBA code. Thanks.

You need to modify the window and drag the pink field into the viewable area of the window and make it visible. Then you can add it to VBA.

Once you have added it, you can make it hidden again and move it back to where it.

If you have not modified the window, then you will need to modify it temporarily to show that field while you add it to VBA and then you can delete the modified window. As part of this process you will need to also temporarily alter the security to open the modified window and the VBA EventMode to work with the Modified window. Once the field is added to VBA you can reset all the settings back.
