Great Plains Migration from 6.0 to 7.5 using ctree

How do i migrate from GP 6 to 7.5

You can just perform a standard upgrade from GP 6.0 to 7.5. Migration refers to when you are changing platform, for example from ctree to MS-SQL. This is just a standard upgrade.

Please note that version 8.0 onwards will only support SQL based platforms.

If you are referring to migrating and upgrading from GP6 on Ctree to GP 7.5 on SQL (or MSDE)...you first upgrade the ctree version from 6 to 7.5. You then do a new install of GP7.5 for SQL (or MSDE) and migrate the data from the 7.5 ctree version to the 7.5 SQL version.

You'll want to read the detailed upgrade and migration instructions for each step though.
