I have a customer who is still working in Great Plains for DOS. I believe it is Version 7.

A user deleted all but two workstations and I am attempting to add them back into the system. I get a MS-Dos error when running the configur.bat file.

I remember there being a secret to this, as I did this quite a long time ago and it had something to do with the way the dos window was set or something.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Dan

Hi Dan,

Find a workstation that you can get into GPA. Run config with parameters "-w*" such as "config -w3" which sets up workstation 3. Then add the "set workstation=3" line to the autoexec.bat file of the station you want to add.

Hope this helps.

Jim
