I converted a color image to grayscale and when printing to my Color printer, the image comes out green. Is there a reset color settings to default somewhere in Photoshop.
I did have the same problem a long while back and I believe I fixed it with a new black cartridge...so maybe jimoblak may be correct. Of course you may take DBX's good advice (it will work), but that doesn't completely address the problem.
The other possible reason is that your profiles are amiss. I printed a B&W the other night after telling PS to let the printer manage the color, and telling the printer driver to not manage the color. Neither one did the management, and I got a color caste. You can also get these if both perform color management.
Let PS manage the color, and turn off color management in the printer driver. Of course, use the correct profile for your ink/paper combination within PS.
b) The 2nd page is opened in Photoshop, converted to grayscale and saved as a new PDF document.
c) The original 2 page document is opened in Acrobat, page 2 is deleted and the new B&W PDF page is inserted.
d) Now I am left with a PDF document with page 1 in color and page 2 in B&W.
When I print to the color laser printer in color, the 2nd page has a greenish tint to it instead of B&W. I need to print in color since the document is 2 sided and would like to minimize time by printing it in one shot.
I tried with my Photoshop CS version on my old PC and it works perfectly.
I suspect the color profiles in CS2 are messed up and some color information is left behing even after converting to gray.
