We have numerous reports in CE8.5 which display graphs, some of which have been happily working for a couple of years now. However we have suddenly developed a problem whereby the graphs on reports are no longer there when they are viewed and where the graph was we now just have white space.
When the reports are run the instances are being reported as a Success and all Report Headers/Footers, Groups, Details and any data within the reports are all being returned as normal. Only the graph is missing.
Whatever format I select the same thing happens and the report looks fine except for the missing graph.
This is only happening on newly run instances and on older instances there is no problem and I can still see the graphs.
I have tried stopping and restarting all of the services in the Crystal Config Mgr and rebooting the machine but its made no difference. I've tracked back any changes made to the server since the last instance we have where I can still see the graphs and these amount to:
- 4 MS security patches installed
- A driver for remedy installed
- Extension of diskspace (its a VM machine running
Windows 200 Server)
The first 2 have been reversed but again this has made no difference.
I also found a BO patch (35639665) referring to a registry key controlling graph timeouts and have applied the recommended change but again its made no difference.
If anyone has seen this before or has any ideas that would be great.
Many Thanks in advance, Matt
