graphs and charts in indesign?

Does InDesign CS have tools for creating pie graphs and the like? or is importing an .eps from excel the best way to go.
 
Nope. You might also try building charts in Illustrator with its chart tool - but you can get away with EPS printed from Excel. Microsoft Office apps do not draw lines well to EPS printing so that may be the only reason to consider making a chart in Illustrator.
