Hi,
Just joined the forum...very good information.

Using CR 11 I am creating a graph with one series with a record count by month (for the last 6 months). I want to add another series with the average of all 6 months plotted for each month.

Using a formula fields I can get the average but don't know to make it plot that same value for each month.

S1: S2:
24 25
27 25
23 25
25 25
29 25
21 25

Thanks for your help

After adding S1 to your chart, select the line->right click->trendlines->mean.

Thank you...I was looking in the chart options which offered trendlines but not the mean. Didn't think to look in the context menu.

I don't know what you mean by the context menu. If you select the first line you can->right click->trendlines->mean. I had some trouble the second time getting the mean to be activated--I had to move over the standard deviation and then the mean activated and then I removed the standard deviation.
