Graphics Quality

I am having a lot of trouble importing some graphics and having them come up looking right in the actual Flash movie. I have tried to import them, break them apart and reestablish them at the correct sizes as was suggested in an earlier thread, and I have tried importing as a jpg, bmp and png file but that doesn't seem to matter. I have my jpg quality turned all the way up in the publish settings.

Basically I am at a loss in cracking this one, if any of you have any other tips I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
