I am working on a works computer, re-installing Win NT4 (The only English Version of the Operating System recovery disks supplied). The supplier, I am aware is now out of business! The PC is a Deskpro EN 800Mhz. firstly there is a problem with onboard graphics (nVidia TNT2 Pro) Nt will only use default VGA 800x600 in 16 colours. So, we purchased an SIS 6326 8MB PCI (There is no AGP slot!), on installing the drivers for the new card, reboot still states new drivers have been installed and windows will use the default settings. Do I have to isolate the on board graphics, if so how ? The PC is not that old (2 years) and is only to be used for email / internet. Is there an easy way round this problem as 16 colours is not to good on the eyes !

You need to disable the on board video. This may be done through the bios or by moving jumpers on the mainboard.
