Graphics in red hat

hi i have p3 600 mhg 20 gb hdd 128 mb ram and a good quality motherboard i have installed win2000 pro and red hat linux 6.0 .without having any extra 3d card i can run every game on my system.but ib linux i dont get good graphics the icons are too big and the colours that are presented on the screen are only few. i have a 14 inch LG StudioWorks monitor.please tell me what shouls i do to get good graphics

type Xconfigurator at the command prompt and set up your display driver to use a higher resolution - this is a graphical too with easy to follow steps. ***************************************
