Hello,
I'm new in Asp and i need some help here.I have been asked to make a gui with asp not Asp.Net .Does anyone has an application or example for framework which covers the most basic methods??Meaning with that Insert ,Update,Delete ,Search.Any help or example will be appreciated.
I need generic code for simple selects and update and other stuff which can easily developped from a programmer.
Thank you very much

Try reading through the FAQs above and hitting up sites like w3schools.com or 4GuysFromRolla.com. They have a lot of information and ASP tutorials, more then can be covered in a single thread :)

Do you have a sample code ?.I have found on the net a program which constructs windows forms to web based application. The name of the program is Net Advantage 2004 Vol 3.Of course is not free.Does anyone has free code to create a general framework in Asp???
Thank you

definately try aspmaker the first 30 days is free.
generate the 5 pages [list/add/edit/del/copy] then learn from them and try changing the sql/field names for different pages rather than using aspmaker all the time.
use this purely as a learning tool and i think it will help you [it did for me].
the only downside there are too many features and the code can look a little confusing but its well noted and just removing the bits you dont need can teach you a lot.

with Net advantage you can create a framework in .Net vb and then you can move it into web easily.Of course it costs 6000 dollars .Ok i'll try these urls
Thank you mjonson , way2many ,biddingbong
