hi all,
i am looking for an graphical monitoring tool for aix 4.3.3.
(something like "monitor").
Freeware was nice but i am also looking for commercial products.

Try using "xmperf".

It requires some installation from the AIX CD. "Long live king Moshiach !"
 
Try using the "topas" command. It is a very complete tool to see the performance and memory used by the programs.

I've used 'Ecotools for Unix' in the past.. Yes it has a GUI and can be configured to page / SMS you if their are problems....

This is a product from a company called 'Compuware'- based in Slough. I do not have any contact numbers i'm afraid...

We use products from BMC (Patrol, Perform & Predict). They make lots of nice pie/bar/line graphs and "upper-management pictures" with pretty colors. It can be programmed to do things at certain events, like page you all damn day. That's about the best I can say about it.
