Graphical BOM in ver 8.0

Attended a user group meeting last week and the VAR showed us what to expect in ver8.0. One interesting update is the availability of a graphical BOM. Why did it take this long for MBS to make this functionality? I remember in mid-90s I was already implementing GP with Kewill Max and this functionality was readily available. I'll stay with my CAD drawing instead, I'm sure they'll be bugs everywhere.
