Hi!

Im pretty new to Indesign.

Im planning to make a 12paged CD booklet.

I want my images to spread over facing pages.
(EX: 1 image is spread over page 2-3, 1 image is spread over page 4-5, and so on)

My headache is: The CD booklet will be saddle stiched, wich means that page 1,2,11,12 is one sheet of paper and 3,4,9,10 is another and so on.

What should be the easiest way to do around this, and stillget it right in the printing process?

Can Indesign automatically reorder the pages?

If not, how can I have full control over my spreading graphic?

I consider using two frames (one on each page) dividing the image. But what then if I choose to have a text on a path spreading across two pages?

No, this is really making me pulling out some hairs!

Thanks!

Don't go bald. You, as the designer, should not be worrying so much about imposition (although there are some things that designers should be concerned about in this area). Check out the fully functional demo of InBooklet at alap.com. InBooklet should take care of this for you. Alternatively (and best), you can leave this imposition to your print service provider.
