We have a rush InDesign job here. We just recently installed the software and have done a few jobs with sucess.

Now when time is an issue I am stuck. I have a simple two color rack card. When I print composites all of my graphic boxs print as a solid screen with an X across them. When I print the separations there is just empty space. I have opened all of the graphics in their native aps and all look correct.

The type all separates properly just no graphics. This happens with any and all of our printers. We are a print shop and have used Quark and Pagemaker for years no problem. I usually can find a work around for anything.
I am stuck on this one.

I'll answer my own question since it ended up being dumb question. After over an hour I realize there is a setting in the graphics tab of the print window that controls image data. This was set to none by default somehow. I believe I must have thought it was similar to the images optimization feature in other programs and therefore turned it to "none". Changing it to "all" fixed the problem.

Sorry to clutter up the forum with this one. Maybe some other lost soul will be helped by this.
