Hi

I am using Crystal 9.0 extracting data from an Access 2003 table.

I'm trying to create a physician "scorecard" but want to show the individual data and also the departmental data on the same graph so each can see how they compare to departmental averages. Is this possible?

Any and all assistance greatly appreciated.

Please explain the chart setup that you have used for the individual data. What are the on change of and show value fields?

Hi LB

For the individual charts I'm grouping on Physician, and the on change of data element is month of activity. I will only have one indicator on the graph but trended over various months.

Does that help?

So is the chart in the Physician group? Are you trying to get an average across physicians for each month?

Yes, all of the charts per physician will be considered in the "departmental" total.

The graph is supposed to be specific to each physician i.e. grouped on physician so they don't see each other's data. But I want to be able to show cumulatively the department results on the same graph.

So if Dr. Smith has an average length of stay of 5.3 days for April, I want to show that and beside it the departmental average of 3.2 days (or if using line graph for the trend data then show one series of departmental values, one for the individual physicians and one for target length of stay).

Thanks.
