Hi, I'm using Adobe Illustrator CS 2 on a Mac. I've created a few area graphs using the graph/chart tool. As the chart goes from value to value, it makes sharp and pointy edges. I would like it to make smooth edges instead. I have searched the help and have not been able to find instructions on how to make them smooth. I guess I'll just have to do it by hand with the pen tool, but I'm not very confident in my pen tool skills - can somebody give me tips on how to make smooth edges while still keeping hte data integrity intact?

Thanks very much in advance!

Do you mean like rounded corners? If so, go ahead and set up the graph as normally would, then select the area to be smoothed and stylize - rounded corners. Preview and adjust as needed. Of course, perhaps I misunderstood your post.
