(grandfather, father, son) tape rotation cycle for offsite tapes

Hello,

I am looking for (grandfather, father, son) tape rotation cycle for offsite tapes.If i am not wrong,there's no real way for Networker to track which tapes are supposed to be offsite and for how long.

Is there a way to specify different retention periods based on how long the tape is supposed to remain offsite.

Please suggest

AlphaStor could help you for the tape rotation issue.

Since NW 7.3 you may assign a separate retention policy per pool.
