Grammar check won't make changes

Grammar check recognizes mistakes and highlights them with a green underline. It also has suggestions for a mistake, however the change button is grayed out and cannot be clicked. When the user right-clicks on the green underline there is no suggestion to use.

What version is this? Is it a protected document or a locked form?

Oops, d'uh. Word 2000 on WinXP. I'll see if it's protected or locked.
