Hiya guys (and gals), I created a wallpaper of some actress and at the end I added a 'grainy' filter to it, now after a month or so later I realize that I don't want that filter, how do I get rid of it??
I really don't wanna redo it...
The image in question is: Any way I can do this??
Thanks... I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

a slight gaussian blur then unsharp mask will get you closer - but not to the original

Hi, just outta curiousity what % of the gaussian blur do u recommend?? Like a 2.0 or a 3.0??
Thanks...i'll let ya know what happens, [smile] I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Blur it to the point the grain starts to fade but you do not lose much other detail. This is the tricky part.

In the future, try making a copy of your image and apply the filter to the copy. You can always go back to the original if the filtered copy does not appeal to you.
