Gradients

I want to create a box with a medium blue color on all four sides that fades to light blue in the middle. Problem with the existing gradients is doing such creates an X thru the box. Is there a way to make the gradient without the X?

In PSP7, you have a choice of gradient styles, including Sunburst, which is a circular gradient. There is a screenshot at

Thanks but unfortunately I'm looking for a square gradient rather than a circular.

Okay. I see what you mean by the Rectangular gradient having an X effect. However, this seems to be an optical illusion - if you check the colours with the eye-dropper, it does show a purely rectangular pattern. I can't see any simple way round it.
