hi all

I am not a graphic designer but I want to make my own site . I have an image with gradient foreground . how can I know the exact gradient color and match it to the background . can background match the same level of gradient color of the foreground and how can I get the level of color for the foreground . the image already exists and I did not create it .I want to do that because sometimes when I start my website I find that the background loaded but the foreground did not load and it gives a bad effect.

Not sure I understand your requirements, but basically you can replicate the gradient colours by sampling the existing image with the colour picker tool. Make a selection and open the Gradient editor. Sample colours for foreground and background and any in-between colours then apply this gradient.
