How do I create stroke with a gradient? Or fake it?
It's possible in Flash, for example, you just convert "lines to fills" and put gradient on them.

Thanks a lot!

Good Morning,
First draw a brush stoke. Then select it with the direct selection tool. Go to View/Outline.
Now go to Object/Expand appearance
Now you will see a three lines instead of just the one.
Click to select only the line in the center with the direct selection tool. Delete the inside line until you have all parts of it gone.
Now go to View/Preview.
Select the stroke using the direct selection tool
Now fill with the desired gradient.
Good luck.

Thanks,Iconpro
Holy smokes, complicated procedure! I betcha it's easier in Freehand ;)
Honestly, I hate Freehand. But more and more I feel that I should be drawing in Flash and exporting from there.

Let's see if I cant simplify that a bit.

1. Select the stroke you wish to fill with a gradient.

2. Choose OBJECT -> PATH -> OUTLINE STROKE

3. Fill with desired gradient.
