Hello. I am fairly new to illustrator but having used photoshop for many years It is fairly easy to adapt to, except for one thing. The gradient mesh. I understand the basic idea of it, the thing I am having trouble with is actually assigning color to it. What is the most efficent way to add color to the points?

Thanks a lot

One way would be to select all of the points to you want to assign a particular color with the Direct Selection Tool (A). Ctrl-Click (PC) to add points.

If the points are nearby, the Lasso Tool (Q) can help round them up as well - works similar to Photoshop.

Then select a color via swatches, color picker, etc.
