Hi folks

Are there any signs to look for regarding GPU overheating? My screen freezes sometimes when playing 3D games (and only then, it can run for days when i'm not playing) I mean there is no graphical errors or anything, the screen just suddenly freezes after 10-40 mins. Wouldn't there be some kind of visible clues that it was running hot?

I guess the easiest way of diagnosing if the GPU is indeed overheating would be to open up your case and point a desktop fan inside the PC, if it stops freezing then you know it has been overheating and that you need a graphics cooling kit and possibly more case fans.
Case fans are always a good idea because everything in your system will benefit from the better turnover in cool air as a result. Martin Just trying to help, sometimes falling short, I am only human after all.
