Help please. We thought we had this fixed this morning, but NOT. The file is growing exponentially - seeming to grow freely whenever we open space on the drive as we attempt short term fixes till we figure out how to solve the problem. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Is it a bug? A virus? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks.

Keith

Who is you SQL Db administrator ?
My guess you have the Dynamic's DB setup for a full backup plan. The log file will grow until it backed up with truncation, at this point it should shrink to the truncation point.

The way to fix it is to investigate your backup plan.

Note : I am not a SQL guru, just passing on my hunch.

Thanx. I appreciate the input. Yes, we agree that the backup setup is probably not right, so we'll be looking into that. We got it fixed for now, but need to make some changes so we don't find ourselves short like that again.
