Is there a built-in GPS or locator for the DECT handsets? We have around 1,800+ DECT handsets and we want to be able to locate them accurately. Maybe at least we could get to know which base station are they currently roaming to? Thanks!

There is an application that can be purchased/installed.
You would need to contact Unify for same, cant remember the name of it.
Useful in Hospitals to see where Doctors are located

Could it be the HiPath Positioning System?

Yes that is what it is called as far as I remember.
A server that connects to the base stations to determine the relative radio strengths for each handset and then maps them out

Is there a command in HiPath that let's us manually know which base station is our DECT handset currently connected to?

if you are using Mitel MXONE system, then you need "DECT OM Locating
Application"
