GPS Android Data capture solution

Hi all,

I want to purchase an andriod tablet with onboard GPS.

I have an excel spreadsheet with some data in it and about 3000 rows of data. I want to be able to plot an item on a map (google maps maybe) and then attach the co-ordinates to a line in the excel sheet.

Can anyone suggest a way of doing this? is there an andriod app I can get? Would I be better with an ipad? All options considered...

Hi Thanks for the quick reply, no not really as I dont have the co-ordinates yet, I will be going out on the street to do that soon with some sort of GPS tablet so Ideally I want to be able to click on the tablet and record the gps co-ordinates that are in the same place...
