Hi, I have a few servers that users connect to via terminal services. Yesterday we had a user accidentally accept an update and restart our main production server :( .

What I would like to know is how I can use group policies to restrict it so only administrators can see the updates??

Servers should be updated manually during a maintenance window. Turn Automatic Updates Off.

Yeah I agree, the boss has turned them on, and wont really budge...

From experience, I have the most issues with Terminal Servers compared to regular servers due to MS patches, MS doe not test them thoroughly on TS servers. On my clients I turn of the automatic updates, and research before I apply patching to these servers.
If your users can turn off a TS they are over empowered.
