Are there any group policy settings that can be applied to prevent computer accounts passwords from changing and becoming out of sync with the server?

What do you mean by "computer accounts"?

Thanks,
Andrew

I don't believe you can prevent this from happening but you can alter the amount of time that the password gets changed in. By default it gets changed once every 30 days.

I think the setting is here;

Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\

But I could be wrong as I'm going from memory

Thanks for posting the solution, although you did see the disclaimer on that page that says don't enable this setting didn't you?? ;-)

I'm actually surprised that it is setting you are allowed to turn off. May I ask why you need to disable it?
