I need to control Firefox running on out Network. I am fine with the current version, 3.01, but would like to make sure that that is the only version that runs.

I know File Hash would work, but I don't have every version of the FireFox exe for this to work 100% reliably.

I tried "Don't Run specified WIndows Applications" Under User Config/Admin tempalets/System and then a File hash for version 3.01 in Computer Config/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Software Restrictioj Policies, but the user config appears to over ride that.

Any ideas?

Actually I ended download every version and adding inthe hash for each firefox.exe. I disallowed all but 3.01.

If you want a copy of the GPO let me know.
