Howdy All,
I have a lot of users on my network which use a lot of different groups of computers in the office - labs, offices, common areas, etc. Each set of computers has different programs and restrictions on it.
Some of the computers have different groups of users being allowed to log into them - no problem - and some computers - such as the ones in the office don't allow generic accounts like we do in the labs, I do this through group policies.
Here's the situation:
I have 1 OU - my office computers which I have winexit.scr put on them for auto log off. In the GPO for the Office Computers OU I have configured the User section to specify the screen saver to auto kick in after 10 minutes and specify winexit.scr ---- some of these settings in the office OU are not appropriate for the lab where you may go more than 10 minutes without using a computer during a lab workshop. This does not seem to be applying properly --- the screen saver tab is still enabled, and allows users to change their settings. How can I apply user settings to a group of computers without putting the user accounts in teh same OU which would restrict them on to many computers?
