hi folks,

i redesigning an entire AD infrastructure. There is a single domain which hosts 3 sites.(connected by fast cloud network 100mb)

I'm going to attempt to use GPO prefernces to map users drive mapping and printer mapping individually.

Each printer resource will have a security group providing access.

There are over a 100 different printers.

I want to use a single GPO which will contain a mappings based on OU membership (ie Finance) and regional membership (security group "Birmingham Network").

My question is this...
will GPO Preferences for printer mappings hold this many entries (possibly 100 plus) and is this the best way to approach auto mapping each user to their designated printer?

many thanks in advance.
