GPO on XP and NT workstation machine

Hi all

My company is interested to deploy Active Directory using windows2003. Most of client machine is running XP Pro and NT workstation. Is the possible to restrict software installation via the use of GPO on these platform ?? If not, is there any extension software from microsoft can make XP and workstation support GPO. Thanks

XP Pro will apply GPOs without a problem. XP can use software restriction policies to prevent what gets installed.

NT does not support Group Policy.
