GPF ERROR lock ups

i keep getting gpf and fatal exception errors (i installed tweek ui and got a report which i have enclosed snd 801.drv (sound card) i believe this is the sole of the problem But with in the blue screen off death page it will flick to another blue screen and display fatal exception OD 30ff:000026f8 then to another page exception od 0028:coo5a1a3 in vxd vtdapi (01) then to another page 0028c182b570 in vxd voltrack (4)... and an exception in vmouse…. i must admit though i could'nt write the whole message out as my computer changes screen before i can finish this is what is in my pc...i have done fdisk format cleen install i admit this is not the answer but ...

help please terry....

A suggestion to get into BIOS and
1. do a RESET of the BIOS to SETUP default.
2. disable COM2 (assuming you are not using that).

Then restart. Are you having some SCSI card, or external devices using SCSI card. I think your SCSI configuration is clashing with Sound card addresses. AT least for checking purpose, in Windows..system devices.. you can disable the SCSI configuration and check by working... OR. disable the sound card and try working.

YOu will get the answer by the results... :)
