Hi,
I just applied U.S. 2009 March Payroll tax update to my GP 10 server. The file name is 'MicrosoftDynamicsGP-KB968118-v10-ENU.msp'.
Instructions say reboot afterwards if asked to and then start GP Utilities. It did ask me to so I did after the update was complete. Once I reboot and login to Utilities I get to a Upgrade Microsoft Dynamics GP box that reads:
A previous version of Microsoft GP Dynamics has been detected.
'To proceed, you need to upgrade your Microsoft Dynamics GP system database.
Other users are currently using Microsoft Dynamics GP. You cannot update tables while anyone is using Microsoft Dynamics GP.
It then forces me to exit via the Cancel button. I've gone as far as unplugging the ethernet cable from the back of the system to make sure no one really is logged in. I'm clueless as to how to proceed and hope someone here has seen this before.
Payroll is this week and I will be mighty unpopular with the locals if we can't run paychecks!
Thanks In Advance!
