Hello,

I am trying to find information on the database layout and structure for Great Plains using Pervasive SQL2000i. I need to access certain btrieve file to read some data from another program, but without some basic structure knowledge I'm faced with going through each and every table to find the info I need. Does anyone have any documentation on the structure of the databases?

Thanks,
Matt

There is a freeware utility called Dynamics Data Browser. It should be available directly on the Great Plains website. This allows you to browse the datafiles and will preview the field layouts. Each datafile will show the technical name, physical name, and display name. This way you can see what's what.

Let me know if you can't find this utility and I can send you a copy of it...
