GP Manufacturing - How big does it go?

I would like to find out how big some of the larger installations of GP with Manufacturing are? Is it successfully implemented with more than 25 total users? more than 50? 100? 200? 500? What are the fundamental issues with GP implementations this large that include Manufacturing modules.
