GP and SharpOwl Integration

We, a Professional Services Organisation, are currently evaluating software for Financials, Project Accounting, Time and Expenses and a reseller has suggested using Great Plains for Financials integrated with the SharpOwl Professional Services Automation module. (The GP Project Accounting module does not meet our business requirements.) Has anyone heard of this being done before? Any anticipated problems with approach? integration? Any advice more than welcome...
