GP 9.0 on Window 7

Does anyone experiences any problem when installing GP 9.0 into new Window 7?

No problems, but a few recommendations:

1. Perform the installation as the local/built-in administrator (not simply a user in the local admin group or a domain admin).
2. Install outside of Program Files (this is not a requirement, but I have found it to be more reliable).
3. Prior to installing any GP service packs, install SP 1 for .NET Framework 1.1. (

Also, while there are many people running GP 9.0 on Windows 7 without problems, you should be aware that GP 9.0 is not supported by Microsoft on Windows 7.
