Ive created a central form from where i want my database user to start. Howdo i set access, so that on opening the database the opening form automatically appears.

Cheers

Iangrand -- did you try this? Does it work for only the database you have open or did it change Access the program so it always opens that form?
I am trying to do basically the same thing you were and hope you can help.
Thanks
Kimberly

You can create a Macro named "autoexec" that contains the operation "OpenForm" and the name of your form. For example, if you want the DB to open a form called "Menu" when you start, go to "Macros" and select "new". Under "action", select "OpenForm". Under "Form Name", select "Menu (or whatever your form's name is). Then save the Macro as "autoexec". The Autoexec Macro will run every time you open the database.
