Got It Goin!

Hey guys just lettin ya know that I got my big rig up and goin...and she runs as smooth as ever, although its hard on my eyes goin from 1024x768 res. on a 17" screen, to a 21" screen with 1600x1200 res. LOL Thanks alot for all the help you guys gave me, I learned alot but here is what I did(this was just my last resort, plus I had the extra money layin around):

Since I didnt have my XP Cd I went and bought a new CD and an 80GB hard drive, put XP on it and booted up with my Seagate as a slave. Then I dragged and dropped everything I needed(which ended up not being more than 5GB) Then I formatted the Seagate HD and put XP on it. Then I switched the master and slave drives and dragged and dropped again, then reinstalled all my programs, and now I have all my valuable info backed up on the other 80GB HD that I have! Quite simple but cost about $130 which wasnt as bad as I thought it would've been.

lol Glad to hear you got your computer going and as maingeek says turn the resolution down. No need to make microscopic font unless you just like straining lol. Anyways congrats and Merry Christmas.

LOL Naw my eyes arent that bad, heck Im only 19 years old...although, my back gives me problems sometimes lol...I love this resolution though, it was just so different, but Im getting used to it...and now I can clean up my laptop and give it to my roommate! Merry Christmas to everyone!
