D@^^n!t, everyone's got a gripe about Netscape, don't they? Just wait, in 25 days,beta-v6 based on Mozilla will be out and will be fully compliant with W3C's specification for HTML, CSS, XML, DOM, and JavaScript. Ooooh...I can't wait.
If anyone's wondering where I got my info:
I am also waiting with bated breath, fingers flexed, poised over keyboard...

I have several gripes about the current NN, but I have downloaded a prevous beta version of the mozilla, and it looks great. can't wait for the new release either.
Yep, I've been waiting ever since the Gecko engine first came out... Webmonkey wrote an article about it a while ago. I was expecting the beta on March 31st to coincide with Mozilla's 2nd birthday (at least that's what I had heard)... although I've been checking both netscape.com and mozilla.org religiously without news. I've used both M13 and M14 milestones... it's really sweet. There are still bugs, but it's really an industrial strength browser, and the mail program is top notch as well. IE4 -> IE5 was nothing... but when Netscape says upgrade, they mean it. One thing, though... as far as I know, this is Netscape 5, not Netscape 6; I've heard that mentioned a few different places, but this is Netscape v5.
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
