Hi,

When I type something in google's search text box it automatically shows all the words matching entered in the past. Is there any way I can clear this list ?

Thanks.

if you only want to delete some of them, then scroll down through the list and hit delete. This will delete them (one at a time unfortunately) and leave any other entries on other web pages intact.

Freeware program IEHV (IE History Viewer) from Nirsoft Utilities :

It says that it only does the URLs but I though I had used this previously to view/remove only certain auto complete entries. I do not have it installed on this PC so I can't check it right now.

DKL01, you can also click on the drop-down arrow immediately to the right of the toolbar. There is a CLEAR SEARCH HISTORY option, and that just clears all the magical bread crumbs you've left behind you.
