Google and keywords in the meta tag

Good Day,

It seems to me that Google doesn't index the keywords placed in the meta tag.
In the site,

http://www.iyengaryogaschool.org/Home.htm,

we placed several cities in the meta/keywords section, including Paramus.
However, when searching for: 'Iyengar yoga Paramus' the site doesn't show up.

Any ideas?

Hi mate,

Because of the abuse of the tag, most of the major engines ignore it now.

You should probably forget about keyword meta-tags now, there are better ways to spend your time. Here's an interesting article:
